Canterbury boasts of a young pace battery. A husky and well-built right-arm fast bowler, Will Williams made his first-class debut in 2012. His rise has been steady and injuries too have plagued his career so much so that he had to miss nearly two seasons due to a career threatening foot injury. But his never-say-die attitude saw the youngster rise from the ashes and played a successful role in Canterbury's winning campaign in 2017. In 13 FC matches, Will has bagged 30 wickets at an average of 23. Along with Shipley, Will leads the pace attack for his club. Canterbury decided to extend his contract for the 2018-19 season.
