That's all from the cracker jacker of a high scoring game of the Vitality Blast. A day that won't encourage many youngsters to become bowlers, but when this is the entertainment on offer, not many will complain!! We'll be back with our coverage tomorrow, goodbye for now!

21:39 Local Time, 20:39 GMT, 02:09 IST: What a game!! A game where you just didn't want to be a bowler. 506 runs scored in 236 balls, peak T20 entertainment for all who were at the Oval and all who caught this game live! It felt like it this chase was to be just going through the motions after Surrey scored a whooping 252 runs in the first innings. Will Jacks got 96, Laurie Evans got 85 and Surrey were looking for 300 at one stage. However, Middlesex got themselves back into the contest nicely after they dismissed the openers, as the new batters couldn't score as freely. In reply, they needed a big start and skipper Eskinazi provided just that. He took down Sam Curran and Sean Abbott in the powerplay, as his partner Joe Cracknell also slammed a few big shots. The openers put on 85 in the powerplay and were well ahead of the curve at one point, but a mix-up sent Cracknell back to the hut, and then Chris Jordan got the opposite captain. It looked like Surrey surely would claw their way back then, but Max Holden had other ideas. He hit his first ball for four, and then everything that left his willow looked like it was finding the boundary. Ryan Higgins also played his role with an aggressive 48 off just 24 balls. Sunil Narine conceded 47 in his four overs, Curran 55 and Jordan 41 - tells you everything you need to know about the pitch and Middlesex's batting. In the final over, the visitors needed 10 to win with the new batter Jack Davies on strike, but a ramp over fine-leg and a slash through backward point finished the game in just two balls...

19.2

Gus Atkinson to Jack Davies, FOUR, through the off-side!! Low wide full toss, Davies slashes at it and gets it between backward point and short third. Middlesex win their first game in 15 matches. Highest successful chase in T20 Blast history!! Second-highest chase in all of T20 history! Wow!

19.1

Gus Atkinson to Jack Davies, SIX, wow!! how calm was he? This was a low full toss from Atkinson. Jack Davies very composed shimmies in and plays the scoop. There was a man at fine leg, but it goes over his head. Incredible composure and audacity shown by the new batter...

Gus Atkinson [3.0-0-43-0] is back into the attack

Big over for Gus Atkinson. Either a hero or villain today...

18.6

Jordan to Jack Davies, 1 run, backs away and swings hard but towards wide long-on as Jordan went quick into the blockhole again!! The new batter will take strike for the final over

Jack Davies, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Surrey are slow on the over-rate. These last 7 balls will have one extra fielder inside the circle!!

18.5

Jordan to Ryan Higgins, out Caught by Josh Blake!! Wicket!! Game on again. Length ball angling down leg. Higgins backs away for a big swipe. Gets an edge and keeper takes a nice low catch. Going down to the wire... Ryan Higgins c Josh Blake b Jordan 48(24) [4s-6 6s-2]

Jordan to Ryan Higgins, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

18.4

Jordan to Ryan Higgins, FOUR, oh dear me... It seems like Middlesex's day!! Another gun yorker from Jordan. Higgins inside-edges onto the pads and then the ball deflects to the left of the keeper for a boundary. A lucky, lucky boundary and Jordan has gone for 8 undeserved runs here..

18.3

Jordan to Ryan Higgins, FOUR, big boundary!! Wide yorker, nothing wrong with it. Higgins stays deep and opens the bat face late to get it between backward point and short third

18.2

Jordan to Max Holden, 1 run, top quality yorker again. Slammed towards deep mid-wicket

18.1

Jordan to Ryan Higgins, 1 run, Superb yorker from CJ. Blocked right into the pitch and the batters try to hurry for a run. Jordan rushes in and kicks it onto the stumps. A very tough call for the third umpire, given in the favour of the batter as it was touch and go

Chris Jordan [3.0-0-30-1] is back into the attack

Jordan the death over specialist now!! Game hinges on this over

17.6

Sam Curran to Max Holden, no run, big shout for LBW, not out says umpire! Length ball angling onto off. Holden moves in for the shimmy and misses. Struck on the pads but just outside the line on off maybe...The batter gets lucky

17.5

Sam Curran to Ryan Higgins, 1 run, wide yorker, was very wide but Higgins got closer and dug that out towards covers

17.4

Sam Curran to Max Holden, leg byes, 1 run, good length slower delivery that chases Holden. He swings and misses, the ball hits him and gets stuck in the crease. Scamper for a leg bye
