21:25 Local Time, 20:25 GMT, 01:55 IST: Serious death bowling from Surrey has helped them to defeat Lancashire in this knockout game. Lancashire have a terrific record at home and the visitors have done extremely well today to get the better of them. Jordan was absolutely outstanding as he nailed his yorkers and executed his slower balls to perfection. He was everywhere and effected a terrific run-out as well. Surrey posted a competitive 187 on the board on the back of lightning knocks from Evans and Roy. In reply, Lancashire were off to a flier but Abbott struck in his first over to get the crucial breakthrough of Salt. Croft joined hands with Buttler and both of them mixed caution with aggression nicely, stitching together a 62-run stand in the process. But, Moriarty outfoxed Buttler at a crucial stage. Livingstone struggled for rhythm and fell to Narine. The hosts still had a real chance as they needed 54 off 5 overs but the death bowling from Jordan and Curran was extraordinary. Croft was nipped out by a lethal yorker on the first ball of the penultimate over by Jordan. He then effected a superb run-out and took another wicket in the same over to pile further pressure on the hosts. Mitchell tried his best but he kept running out of partners. And Abbott delivered the final punch as he held his nerves and bowled a brilliant final over, leading his side to a 13-run victory. A memorable win for Surrey as the semi-final awaits them in a week's time. That's it from us for today! Goodbye and cheers!
