We are looking to hire Sub-Editor for our Editorial team
Responsibilities
- Contribute extensively through stats and trivia for all cricket matches for editorial purposes (on text commentary, articles, social media and videos)
- Present relevant data including match-ups and historical numbers that guide fantasy cricket players
- Write well-researched analytical articles on matches or trends happening in cricket
- Dig out and deliver relevant numbers before, during and after matches for editorial purposes
Requirements
- Have an analytical and statistical bent towards cricket
- Speed in digging through data and providing information on call
- Thorough knowledge of cricket and its history
- Ability to think independently and come up with ideas for content
- Knowledge of the events unfolding around the world, and the ability to keep track of multiple events
- Ability to navigate through different platforms and databases to provide relevant statistics
