Sri Lanka vs Scotland

After being asked to bat first, Sri Lanka lost regular wickets and failed to build a big partnership, managing only a couple of half-century stands amongst the top order. Despite being at a dominating 203-4 at one stage, thanks mainly to Nissaka's 75 and Asalanka's 63, Sri Lanka lost their last six wickets for 42 runs, falling three balls short of playing out fifty overs. Sri Lanka managed to oput 245 on the board, with Chris Greaves (4-32) and Mark Watt (3-52) being the wreckers-in-chief for Scotland.

However, Sri Lanka's spinners turned out to be too much for Scotland, with Theekshana, Hasaranga and Shanaka picking six wickets between them as Scotland crashed to 163 all-out, losing by a big margin of 82 runs. Chris Greaves, once again, carried the batting on his own, scoring an unbeaten half-century to go with his four-wicket haul, but to no avail.

Brief Scores: Sri Lanka 245 all-out in 49.3 overs(Patthum Nissanka 75, Charith Asalanka 63, Chris Greaves 4-32, Mark Watt 3-52) beat Scotland 163 all-out in 29 overs(Chris Greaves 56*, Maheesh Theekshana 3-41, Wanindu Hasaranga 2-42)by 82 runs.

Ireland vs UAE

Ireland, who were asked to bat first by UAE, posted a mammoth 349-4 in Bulawayo, courtesy a mammoth knock of 162 by veteran Paul Stirling, and useful half-centuries from Andy Balbirnie (66) and Harry Tector (57). In response, UAE put on some decent partnerships, but regular wickets never allowed them to get into the game, as four bowlers - Dockrell, Little, McBrine and Campher picked up two wickets each, and McCarthy picking up just one. In the end, UAE were no match, falling 138 runs short of the target, as Ireland cruised to a comfortable win.

Brief Scores: Ireland 349-4 in 50 overs(Paul Stirling 162, Andrew Balbirnie 66, Sanchit Sharma 3-46)beat United Arab Emirates 211 all-out in 39 overs (Muhammad Waseem 45, Sanchit Sharma 44, Curtis Campher 2-14, Josh Little 2-30)by 138 runs
