The Dindigul leg of the TNPL is over and the teams now move across to Salem for the next set of games, starting on Saturday. Do join us for a double-header weekend as the TNPL continues to roll on. For now, cheers and bye..

Suryaprakash, Player of the Match: I enjoyed the innings a lot. This is a new role for me. I learned last evening that I would bat down if wickets don't fall early. The field was set that way and I responded. I prepared well and was happy that I could win the game. Let's see (if he will continue batting down the order).

Abhishek Tanwar: The ball was changed in the 14th over and it was like a new ball, it was going nicely off the bat. The momentum was with us whenever the rain came. I am proud of the way my boys bowled in these conditions.

Arun Karthik: I was definitely nervous, I got out early and it was a tricky chase. Credit to Salem as they fought hard. The difference was one over and that was the 15th over. I didn't know Surya could play like that. Moving forward we will see what is the best combination for us.

Ajithesh Guruswamy: At the time I got out there was a shift in momentum, but great play from Suryaprakash. We wanted to take the game deep and had good conversations about it. He (Suryaprakash) is definitely our team's legend. The wicket was a little bit dicey but we played well. We left the last game as it was and started this game fresh, that's about it.

23:47 Local Time, 18:17 GMT, 23:47 IST: Nellai made a meal of what should've been a straightforward chase and they will have to thank Suryaprakash for saving them the blushes. He was surprisingly sent in at No. 7 and his unbeaten 14-ball 33 was the difference between the two sides. Chasing 129 from 16 overs under DLS method, Nellai struggled to get away and only a handy 31-ball 39 from Ajitesh Guruswamy kept them in the hunt. But at 86 for 5 in the 13th over, they seemed to have slipped up badly, only for Suryaprakash to play a blinder, the 15th over turning out to be a turning point as Abhishek Tanwar conceded 18 runs. Salem kept fighting hard and will look back at that 15th over and those three full-tosses which eventually cost them two vital points

Akash Sumra to Suryaprakash, 1 run, slower ball down leg, Suryaprakash was shaping for the pull, must've gloved it and it bounced awkwardly in front of the keeper, he can't stop it cleanly and allows the winning run
