North vs North East

Pulkit Narang returned a four-fer in the second innings to rip through North East's batting order early on Day 4 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and guide North to a massive win by 511 runs. North East folded up for 154, losing seven wickets in less than two hours on Saturday morning. Barring Paizor Tamang's 40, none of the other batters made an impression.

North Zone will face South Zone in the semis four days later.

Brief Scores: North Zone 540/8 decl. (Nishant Sindhu 150, Dhruv Shorey 135, Harshit Rana 122) & 259/6 decl. Central Zone vs East Zone

Led by Saurabh Kumar's 8-wicket haul, Central Zone wrapped up East Zone's second innings early on Day 4, bundling them out for 129 and registering a massive 170-run win in a relatively low-scoring contest in Alur. Shabaz Nadeem and Akash Deep threw their bats around a bit and picked a few quick runs, but the contest was all but over by then. The left-arm spinner bagged the last four wickets that fell on the final day, without conceding a run.

Central Zone will now face West Zone in the semifinal at the same venue.

Brief Scores: Central Zone 182 & 239 (Himanshu Mantri 68, Vivek Singh 56; Ishan Porel 3-15, Shahbaz Ahmed 3-66) lead East Zone 122 & 129 (Akash Deep 24; Saurabh Kumar 8-33) by 170 runs
