Another product of TNPL, Sai Kishore is a tall left-arm orthodox spinner who created quite a few buzz in the first two seasons of the tournament. He first grabbed attention for all the wrong reasons in the inaugural edition of the competition. Playing for Chepauk Super Gillies, an on-field altercation with Jagadeesan and R Ashwin saw Sai Kishore coming face-to-face with the former. That incident spurred Sai Kishore to focus on the bowling and he emerged as the fourth highest wicket taker in the tournament (12 wickets). In the next season, Sai Kishore topped the bowling charts with 17 scalps which also him get picked for the Tamil Nadu team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He continued his fine form playing a key role in his state side lifting the silverware in the same year.

He went onto attend trails for various IPL teams but failed to make the cut. Sai Kishore hit a lean patch in the later half of 2017 and even in the 2018 season of TNPL, but he fine-tuned his skills working with former Tamil Nadu spinner Ramkumar for a few months and has began the 2018 season on a bright note.
