Logan van Beek is an all-rounder, who currently plays cricket for the Netherlands national team. He also represented New Zealand at the World Under-19 Basketball Championships in 2009 and and he works as a sports coach in his spare time.

Van Beek is the grandson of Sammy Guillen, who played Test cricket for both West Indies and New Zealand. He was also a part of the under-19 New Zealand squad for the 2010 World Cup. He was qualified to play for the Netherlands because his father had roots in the country.

Van Beek made his T20I debut for Netherlands in the 2014 World T20. His played his first game against UAE on 17 March 2014. He had a slow start to his career as he had taken only 2 wickets and scored 3 runs in the first six games of his career. However, he announced himself to the world when he took took 3 for 9 in his 7th game as England suffered a humiliating defeat by 45 runs.
