Profile
George Drissell, a product of Academy Programme at Gloucestershire Cricket made his first-class debut against Northamptonshire in August 2017, but has played only a handful of matches in the County Championship since then. Drissell started playing professional cricket at Bedminster and represented the club in the West of England Premier League before he signed his contract for Gloucestershire.

Apart from being an off-spinner, Drissell also has a decent defence, hence he is remembered for one of his innings wherein he played as a nightwatchman in the second innings and won the match with a valuable contribution of 16. In one of the matches of Second Eleven Twenty20 at Canterbury, Drissell scored useful runs when Gloucestershire 2nd XI were setting a target and bagged four wickets in the match, as a result of which they won the match by 45 runs against Kent 2nd XI.

The only List A match Drissell has played so far in his career came against Middlesex in 2018. It was a high scoring match as Paul Stirling and Eoin Morgan scored centuries and set a target in excess of 320 for Gloucestershire. Drissell's economy in that contest was on the higher side, whereas he was dismissed for a duck - a match that Gloucestershire lost by 33 runs.
