So the series is now 6-2 in favour of Australia with one more T20I and three ODIs left. England got the job done today after a brilliant innings from Danielle Wyatt. Will need more such performances to keep Australia at bay. Onto Lord's then. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of this one. Until next time, it's goodbye from Sagar Chawla on behalf of Siva and Anurag Hegde.

Heather Knight | England captain: What a game in front of pretty much a full house. Proud of the way the girls played but we've got more in the tank. Pitch was a bit stoppy. Just her maturity and experience came to fruition (Wyatt). She doesn't get the credit for being a very smart cricketer. Dean could bowl at all stages, bowled very well in the powerplay. Our bowling unit, with Nat coming back, was our strongest. Execution we can do a little better. Winning at our 80 percent feels good. We've felt the difference and felt the support (from the crowd). Lord's is a great place to play T20, hopefully people will turn up to watch.

Alyssa Healy | Australia captain: They did better than us in all three facets but we got so close, to lose that by just 3 runs. We have to tighten things up. We were rather loose, didn't play as well as we would've expected. England came out swinging and got a good score on the board. The pacers did really well to get something out of that wicket. Super special to be playing at these grounds.

Danni Wyatt | Player of the match: Glad to contribute to a win. Proper team effort that. Great crowd in today and at Edgbaston as well, hopefully we get another one at Lord's. Pitch was a bit tricky, probably nicer under lights but we did well to get 186. It's T20, just got to be brave and keep backing yourself. The crowds have been so good, they've got behind us. Hopefully they can come again at Lord's.

21:12 Local Time, 20:12 GMT, 01:42 IST: Another cracking game between these two teams. England posted a formidable 186 on the board. Australia started well, but then it looked like their wheels would come off as they went from 59/0 to 75/4, before Perry led a late charge along with Wareham. England were given a scare but they managed to hold on. How crucial were those extras that Australia conceded in a sloppy effort with the ball. There were 21 of them, including 15 wides. Their problems were compounded by Danielle Wyatt scoring a brilliant 76 off just 46 balls. They were left needing a big chase and lost by a very fine margin in the end as England kept the Ashes alive.

19.6

Ecclestone to Perry, SIX, six more to finish! Two sixes on the bounce from Perry off the final two balls, but it's not enough as Australia fall short by 3 runs. England are pumped as the Ashes are still alive

19.5

Ecclestone to Perry, SIX, this time she clears the ropes! Fired into the pads as Perry dances down, and that's a superb shot from Perry! Fast hands as she swings it over square leg

Megan Schutt, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.2

Ecclestone to Jonassen, out Caught by Capsey!! Jonassen advances for a big shot, doesn't get hold of it and holes out at long-on. Well done by Ecclestone to keep the line slightly wide. Jonassen c Capsey b Ecclestone 6(3) [4s-1]

Ecclestone to Jonassen, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

19.1

Ecclestone to Perry, 1 run, dances down and hits it on the bounce to long-on

Ecclestone has 20 to defend off the final over

18.6

Bell to Jonassen, 2 runs, that's gone high in the air, long-on rushes in but it falls short! Slower one on off, Jonassen looks to heave it away but gets a thick top-edge. She gets back for two

18.5

Bell to Jonassen, FOUR, slower ball on leg, Jonassen waits for it and dispatches it to the midwicket boundary. Nicely struck across the line

18.5

Bell to Jonassen, wide, way too wide outside off, Jonassen fails to reach out

Jess Jonassen, left handed bat, comes to the crease

18.4

Bell to Wareham, out Bowled!! The slower ball works brillianty for Bell like it had done a couple of times in the previous match. Wareham looks to slog through midwicket, fails to connect and loses the off stump. Wareham b Bell 19(11) [4s-1 6s-2]
