He (Ashwin) is very calm and has made the environment chill. We are all enjoying it. Nattu bhai is a class bowler, it was swinging both ways. I knew if I could negotiate him, it'll be easier for me. We have one of the best bowling line-ups in the tournament. Having good bowlers is a blessing.

But his opening partner - Shivam Singh - took the attack to the Trichy bowlers. He was dropped on 13 and then punished the bowlers as the Dragons raced away to 61/1 in the powerplay. Shivam fell in the seventh over but he'd done the damage with a quickfire 46. Dindigul lost a couple of wickets in an attempt to chase it down quickly but they were never in trouble. Suboth Bhati hit a couple of sixes to wrap up the proceedings as Dindigul hunted down the total with 31 balls to spare. Earlier, Dindigul were excellent with the ball to restrict Trichy to 120. An all-round performance from Ashwin and Co. to kickstart their campaign with a win.
