That's it from all of us here. We will be back tomorrow for more TNPL action. Till then cuddle up, sleep tight and be well. Escape and good night.

Baba Indrajith | Dindigul captain: Honestly I thought we gave 20 extra, I was upset when it went to 170. The plans we had we did not execute, fielding was also not good. But what a superb chase, Shivam and Adhi played brilliantly. Varun asked me if we can go to the dugout in the last 2 overs, but I told him even if you think I'm old school, it's fine, let's sit here. Their two main spinners were Sai Kishore and S Ajith Ram and the way we played the 8 overs was going to be key, it worked out well for us. Still did not have a chat with R Ashwin about tonight's game (smiles)....

N Chaturved | Tiruppur captain: Definitely was a good score, the wicket looked sticky, we could have started the bowling well and executed our plans better. Maybe the fast bowlers should have bowled into the wicket early on but later on the ball got wet, so could not do so. There was a small niggle for him, that's why he did not bowl tonight [on Vijay Shankar]. Next two games we definitely have to win, we have to follow the process first then think about NRR later on.

Shivam Singh | Player of the Match: Plan was quite simple, we had a chat that if we negotiate the powerplay without losing wickets, we can chase it easily. Adhi bhai changed the game totally, he took the pressure off me totally, was a gamechanger innings from him. The new ball was doing a bit when I went in, so thought of taking my time and when the outfield got wet, I thought I could score some runs. The atmosphere is fantastic here.

Adithya Ganesh: I thought 170 was par, kudos to the curator. I think we played really well. I adjusted to the wicket. They have high quality left-arm spinners, it wasn't easy at all so happy we finished the game. The next game is not going to be easy, it's going to be a tough fight.

23:47 Local Time, 18:17 GMT, 23:47 IST: What a comprehensive chase this is. The partnership between Ganesh and Shivam Singh has shut out ITT. The 105-run stand - also the first 100-run stand this season, helping them win with 10 balls to spare. And Baba Indrajith did not even come out to bat. They have done it without R Ashwin too. So DDG take a step closer to making the playoffs and for ITT it gets tougher with just two games remaining for them. The tone was set in the first over when Periyaswamy bowled a wayward over and despite Sai Kishore taking 2 wickets, the dew and the wetness of the ball did not help ITT at all. Shivam was superb through the off-side as he peppered the region between backward point, point and cover-point. He was severe with his cuts and drives. Did not hit a single boundary to the leg-side if I remember correctly but that won't matter one bit to him. The Impact player Ganesh finished things off in a jiffy after landing some meaty blows earlier on. Stay tuned for the presentation...

18.3

P Bhuvaneswaran to Ganesh, SIX, and that's the game. What a way to end. Ganesh swings the low full-toss on the pads over deep backward square leg and the ball flies away into the crowd

18.2

P Bhuvaneswaran to Ganesh, SIX, superb 50 for Ganesh! It's the full slower ball on the stumps, swept over deep backward square leg and it goes all the way. Just a hit away now are DDG

18.1

P Bhuvaneswaran to Shivam Singh, 1 run, slower ball off-cutter outside off, Shivam Singh punches to extra-cover for a single

P Bhuvaneswaran [3.0-0-23-0] is back into the attack

ITT need an over where they need 3 wickets to get back into it.

17.6

G Periyaswamy to Shivam Singh, 1 run, yorker length on the stumps, drilled to long-on

17.5

G Periyaswamy to Shivam Singh, no run, slower ball off-cutter outside off, Shivam Singh gets across and tries to slog to leg, misses

17.4

G Periyaswamy to Shivam Singh, FOUR, that should be the game. Full on off, sliced the loft does Shivam Singh but clears extra-cover and it runs away

17.3

G Periyaswamy to Ganesh, 1 run, yorker length outside off, guided to short third man

17.2

G Periyaswamy to Ganesh, FOUR, was a wide had he left that. A wide low full-toss outside off, Ganesh gets bat and beats Tushar Raheja on the dive to his left

17.1

G Periyaswamy to Shivam Singh, 1 run, what a full-length dive that is from Shivam Singh. Saves himself from being run-out. Full outside off, swiped to backward square leg and Vijay dives to his right to field and then throw on the bounce to Periyaswamy who flicks the bails off, Shivam dives and stretches his bat over the line to beat the throw. Just in

G Periyaswamy [2.0-0-26-0] is back into the attack

16.6

Sai Kishore to Ganesh, 2 runs, slower and tossed up on the stumps, Ganesh flicks to the vacant mid-wicket area, Vijay has a long way to cover and he can't prevent the 2nd

Again the third ump gets involved to prevent a 5-ball over.
