That's it from the first game. Players are striding out for the second game. See you on the other side!

Ashwin: It was a good game. I'll give a big award to my team for defending on this pitch because it was difficult. We bat till XI, so I think he (looks like Ashwin referred to Sarath) will pull off a great performance some time in the tournament. I feel the best thing to do is know what is the best ball a particular bowler can bowl and give him confidence in that, that's what I tried to do with Saravana Kumar. I knew what he was going to bowl, so I changed the field kept third man fine, thankfully it worked for us. His (Varun Chakaravarthy) shoulder often gives him trouble but he should be fine. Nothing to worry

Jagadeesan: It was a wonderful game, there was a lot of pressure. We had set plans, so just about execution. We let ourselves down with fielding too. Apar played brilliantly well, lot of credit to him. This game got so close only because of him. Winning and loses are part and parcel. As I said, we willl try to execute better next game.

Suboth Bhati: The time we started, we were looking for 150. Suddenly Adithya played well and we got momentum. When were planning we were looking for 150-160, but once we got that partnership we wanted to push it to 170.

19:04 Local Time, 13:34 GMT, 19:04 IST: Dindigul remain unbeaten, three out of three wins and they remain on top. CSG have only themselves to blame. The start wasn't brisk and they lost wickets towards the end, also failed to handle pressure in crunch moments. Classic case of let's hang on to the game and see how the opponent reacts from Dindigul and they win. Ashwin and Co. actually left a few runs out as they collapsed to 63/5, but Adithya and Sarath built a vital 61 run stand and it took a brilliant 13-ball 31 from Suboth to get to 170. CSG lost two early wickets but Apar held on to one end while Jagadeesan struggled. Thought Apar didn't get enough help from his partners he almost put his side in control scoring back-to-back sixes before Varun got him. 15 runs then followed in the penultimate with Sasidev and Rohit swinging their willows. But with just 12 needed off the final over his team panicked under pressure. Credit to DGD for clinging on.

Saravana Kumar to Rahil, out Rahil Run Out!! 1 run completed. Wild swing, thick edge againnn but third man has been placed fine exactly for this lucky edge. Fielder collects and fires a good throw to the keeper. This is a small ground, so getting two is really difficult as the pockets aren't that big. Rahil was only turning at the non-striker's end when the throw came to the keeper. Ample time to knock the bails off and Rahil was nowhere to be seen. Rahil run out (Sarath Kumar/Indrajith) 1(1)

Saravana Kumar to Rahil, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!

DGD win by 1 run

Oh ho ho! The bowler stops in his delivery stride to see if the non-striker leaves the crease. No attempt for a runout though from the bowler.

Rahil Shah, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Saravana Kumar to Sasidev, out Lokesh Raj Run Out!! Direct-hit, Lokesh Raj could be short. Oh he is miles away. This is pressure getting to Sasidev. He is the main batter now and he could have had strike for the final ball to have a go, instead they ran for a bye after Sasidev missed. Keeper underarmed with the gloves but hit the bulls eye! 3 needed off 1 now. Lokesh Raj run out (Indrajith) 5(2) [4s-1]

Saravana Kumar to Sasidev, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!

3 needed off 2

19.4

Saravana Kumar to Lokesh Raj, 1 run, slower delivery into the wicket, Lokesh mistimes the pull to deep mid-wicket. One run

Lokesh Raj, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.2

Saravana Kumar to Ramalingam Rohit, out Caught by Suboth Bhati!! In the airrr, oh he has hit it to hand at short fine leg. Rohit moved too far across, credit to Saravana Kumar for following the batter and dragging it really wide, Rohit had to fetch the scoop. He fancied his chances but holed out to the man at 45. They check if the batter had to meet the ball outside the pitch, replays show both his feet were well inside when the ball touched the bat. Ramalingam Rohit c Suboth Bhati b Saravana Kumar 12(7) [4s-2]

Saravana Kumar to Ramalingam Rohit, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

19.1
